LOS ANGELES ENGAGEMENT – ASHLEY & LOGAN

I met Ashley about a year ago though my wife Amy and every time I saw Ashley and Logan together at church I always thought about how awesome it would be to shoot their wedding with how cool their style was…. and then they got engaged and booked me!

We got started at Union Station in Downtown LA which is a spot I have wanted to go for a while. The day had started off raining with clouds coming in and out which did not always make for great light on top of a busy train station but we ended up finding some great light and I just let them do there thing…..look good.Also we talked security into letting us shoot in the closed part of the station for a few minutes and got some amazing stuff!! Once we finished up there, we headed over to a cool little parking lot to get some rad shots of them and their mopeds, along with racing them around for a little fun. Finish it up with an epic sunset and BAMB engagement photo heaven. Haha.

Glendale Engagement Session – Christine & Robbie

Last week I got to shoot Christine and Robbie in Glendale. We had talked about a lot of different idea’s when it came to locations and Christine suggested a movie theatre! Christine is an actress and Robbie films for TV and Movies so naturally they love going to the movies.We had a bunch of fun messing around in the empty theatre acting like they were watching different movies. Romantic Comedy, Horror, etc…

We tried to walk around and shoot some more but ended up getting kicked out over 3 times! Next over to El Cid’s Restaurant where they knew of this really cool tagged wall… only it was under new ownership and they had panted black over it.No worries, we got some really fun shots anyways. And last but not least we headed over to the Griffith Observatory in Hollywood. I have always wanted to shoot an engagement session at this spot! We got an amazing sunset and well… you’ll see the it.

Christine and Robbie are one of the funniest couples I have gotten to shoot and I can not wait to see what we get on the day of there Wedding!

Downtown Redlands Engagement – Kristin & Vince

Last week I got the honor of shooting Kristin and Vince’s engagement session in Downtown Redlands. Originally we were going to hit up wine country in Temecula but on second thought they decided to make the session more personal. Kristin and Vince had spent a lot of time studying together at the library in Redlands where we got started. Vince is a General Physician and Kristin is a Pharmacist, needless to say they had LOTS of studying to do.

The best part about shooting their photos at the library was the fact that everyone is staring at you and even when your alone in the Romance aisle there is still some old lady breathing like like she’s about to die in the next row. (inside joke from the session) But we still managed to get some great shots. Vince is defiantly the more adventurous one when it comes to kissing out in public. Hahaha.

We started the second half of their session around downtown after an amazing dinner at Romano’s one of their favorite local spots. Got them to lay in the street and block trafficThen finished with one last shot at Prospect Park in the Bamboo Forest…..(see last photo) Seriously a such great way to start off the year’s engagement sessions. The bar has been raised…
